Galapagos Island Hopping 5 days Multisport tour

Day 1

Arrival in San Cristóbal, transfer to hotel. Then we'll go straight to the highlands to have lunch in a local finca. We'll visit the Galapaguera tortoise reserve and hike around El Junco lagoon, a good introduction to the islands! Back to port downhill biking.

Day 2

After breakfast departure for a day of exploration of the marine world. We'll kayak from Playa Mann to Darwin Bay. Then, pick up by a speedboat and continue to Lobos Islands, where we'll have snorkel in shallow water looking for sea lions, tropical fishes, turtles. Our next stop will be Kicker rock, a volcanic formation rising around 150m. above sea level. Snorkel here looking for small reef sharks, rays. We'll then navigate to a nice beach to have lunch and relax. Back to port in the afternoon.

Day 3

At 07h30AM is our flight to Isabela island. We fly 40mn. At arrival, transfer to hotel, check in. Afterwards we'll ride bikes and go to the Wall of Tears and the Wetlands, looking for shore birds, iguanas. Lunch in the port. In the afternoon we'll go the islet "Tintoreras". This is where we may spot Penguins, blue footed boobies, Galapagos hawk. Snorkel in the bay. Back to port and visit of the flamingo lagoon looking for these gracious birds.

Alternative (AM): Cabo Rosa underwater tunnels (snorkel, bird watching, only December though May: $175.-/person: this site is far and a boat has to be chartered)

Day 4

Today we'll reach the highlands of Isabela and begin an intense trekking to Sierra Negra and Sulfur mines. There we can probably see some volcanic fumaroles. Box lunch on the way and snacks provided. Back to port in the end of the afternoon.

Day 5

Departure early morning to Santa Cruz island by boat. Breakfast and transfer to Baltra to catch your flight back to mainland.
